Hot Technology IT is weird... The way things happened here on atomobile technology and its development.
The only thing modivating its growth is competition as it should be, but just look at Europe. Its development was created between not just the competition of companies like GM and Ford, but of Countries and their national pride over its product and its eventual trickle of those technologies to the common car after that technology was not as useful at the big race. I'm not saying its bad what happened here; its always good to run it your way difference sparks inovation, but look at what we got. Live axles are still around and still some of our best cars use two valves per cylinder. It was the best we got back in the day and we inovated heavily upon it, but... Now globalism has come and we're more than unprepared. Double wishbones, multi-link, and four wheel drive are things that are barely becoming standard on cars available here (domestics) and just look at what happened when hybrids came along. Though Europe still opted for the diesel option. I'm not criticizing what does it matter doing so its already happened, just thinking of what could've been if it happened in the 70's. You know the active global competition between car makers and its thrust of automotive development and injenuity; what we could've had today? I'm not making any sense am I?
